The Dixon Group is seeking a motivated AI Solutions & Automations Intern to help identify, develop, test, and deploy AI solutions that improve business performance. This position is ideal for a student who wants hands-on experience applying AI in a real business environment. The intern will work directly with business leaders and technology teams to understand operational challenges and help develop practical AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Assist in evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for AI driven improvements.
• Help design and test AI agents, automation workflows, and productivity tools.
• Participate in meetings with business stakeholders to understand operational needs.
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and best practices.
• Assist with prompt engineering, workflow design, and solution testing.
• Help document AI projects, business requirements, and implementation plans.
• Support user training and AI adoption initiatives.
• Participate in developing and maintaining AI governance and security documentation.
• Monitor performance and reliability of deployed AI tools.
• Create reports summarizing project outcomes and recommendations.

What Were Looking For:

Required:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Ability to work in blocks of at least 2 hours at a time.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, Power Automate, Power Platform, SQL, or data analytics tools.
• Previous project experience involving AI, automation, or machine learning.
• Interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
