System Architecture & Integration
Lead the development of system integration strategies for control, safety, and monitoring systems.
Provide overview of system architecture diagrams, network layouts, and integration documentation.
Ensure compatibility and communication between DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and third-party systems.
Project Leadership
Oversee integration activities during project phases during detailed design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover.
Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Review and integrate technical specifications, integration plans, and test procedures.
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
Provide expert-level support for system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, if required.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Ensure integration practices align with internal cybersecurity standards.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations, if applicable.
Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer
Mentor junior engineers and technicians in system integration best practices.
Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for operations and maintenance teams.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in system integration within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
Proven experience with major control platforms (e.g., DCS,IPS).
Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, Foundation Field Bus, Ethernet/IP).
Familiarity with safety systems (SIS), fire & gas systems, and data historians (e.g., PI System).
Experience in managing integration projects in brownfield and greenfield environments.
Experience in handling and delivering projects in turnaround or shutdown event.
Preferred Skills:
Independent and able to work under minimal supervision.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
