Run the Atlassian and AWS platform that DoD health IT development teams build on, and get it ready for life after Atlassian Data Center.
You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.
What you'll do:
- Operate and patch the Atlassian Data Center platform (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Operate the AWS platform layer the development tools run on
- Close authorization conditions on the platform
- Plan and test the Atlassian successor path ahead of the Data Center end of life
Must have:
- 5 or more years administering Atlassian Data Center or Server products
- Hands-on AWS operations
- Linux administration
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
- DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months
Nice to have:
- Atlassian certification
- Experience migrating Atlassian to Cloud or another platform
- An active Secret clearance or higher
Location: Chantilly, Virginia (Washington, D.C. area) is preferred, on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville, Alabama, or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works, through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.
Pay range: $113,000 to $153,000 per year. Your location and experience set where you land in the range.
