Software Engineer - App

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement multiple large-scale mobile applications with React Native in a fast-paced environment.
• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for an experience on par with native applications.
• Participate in SDLC processes, streamlining, POC development, Functional Estimation, Performance Tuning, environment setup, etc.
• Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
• Mentor young minds and foster team spirit.
• Should be able to do app profiling for a smooth user experience.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience building mobile applications.
• Proficient with React Native with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Experience in developing and delivering large-scale Android and iOS mobile applications via React Native.
• Hands-on experience with React Query or a similar library.
• Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Engineers who are obsessed with optimisations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers.
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and TypeScript.
• Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.
• Experience in at least one native platform, Android (Java/ Kotlin) or iOS
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools.
• Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.
• A growth mindset and passionate about building things from the ground up, and most importantly, you should be fun to work with.
