Technical Support Engineer (CCTV & Network Systems)

• Introduce new product features and assist customers in selecting and configuring suitable products. 
• Coordinate with product and solution teams to recommend appropriate product models based on customers’ BOQ lists and technical requirements. 
• Respond to customer enquiries and troubleshoot technical issues. 
• Train customers’ technical teams on Dahua products and solutions. 
• Gather customer requirements and feedback and communicate them to the product team for product improvement. 
• Work closely with sales teams to analyze customers’ technical and operational requirements. 
• Prepare project-delivery plans and monitor project progress according to Dahua’s scope of work. 
• Support sales teams in reviewing project status, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions. 
• Coordinate internal and external resources to provide effective technical support. 
• Work with the marketing team to promote Dahua’s technologies, solutions and products and collect market feedback. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or another relevant technical field. 
• At least one year of relevant experience in technical support or technical engineering. 
• Experience supporting network, telecommunications, computer or related systems. 
• CCTV technical-support experience is highly preferred. 
• Familiarity with cameras, DVR/NVR equipment and device connectivity. 
• Knowledge of routers, switches, IP addresses, network diagnostic tools and serial-port tools. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
• Fluent English communication skills, including speaking, reading, writing and listening. 
• Chinese-language ability is an advantage. 
• Strong presentation, product-training and customer-service skills. 
• Able to troubleshoot problems, coordinate resources and work effectively with sales and technical teams.
