Senior Solution Architect

Zingly is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who combines deep software engineering expertise, strong architectural capabilities, and excellent customer-facing skills to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a traditional advisory or pre-sales-only architecture position. The ideal candidate will own the complete customer technical journey from pre-sales discovery and solution design to hands-on development, enterprise integration, production deployment, and post-go-live stability.

We are looking for someone equally comfortable presenting architecture to CXOs, designing complex distributed systems, writing production code, and troubleshooting critical integrations. The role will focus on building scalable voice AI, conversational AI, digital AI, and enterprise customer experience (CX) solutions.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Solution Architecture and Technical Leadership:

• Design scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise AI and SaaS architectures.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture, including APIs, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven integrations, cloud infrastructure, and data flows.
• Translate customer business requirements into practical technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Define architectural standards covering security, authentication, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Identify technical risks early and recommend solutions that balance customer requirements with platform scalability.

Hands-On Engineering and Development:

• Actively contribute to software development, API implementation, integration development, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
• Build production-ready components, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Develop proofs of concept and convert validated solutions into scalable production systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure strong engineering practices across testing, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and deployment.
• Recent hands-on coding experience is essential. Candidates should have personally developed and delivered production software, not just managed engineering teams.

Enterprise Integrations and AI Solutions:

• Architect and implement integrations with CRM, CCaaS, CPaaS, ERP, banking, ticketing, and other enterprise platforms.
• Design and deliver voice AI, digital AI, conversational workflows, and customer automation solutions.
• Work with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, event-driven architectures, and enterprise data integrations.
• Ensure seamless integration between AI applications and existing customer technology ecosystems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on AI capabilities, including LLM integrations, RAG, guardrails, model evaluation, and human-agent escalation.

Customer-Facing Solutioning and Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture discussions, solution demonstrations, and design reviews.
• Engage with CXOs, technology leaders, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
• Support technical proposals, RFPs, proofs of concept, and customer solution presentations.
• Build strong customer confidence through technical credibility, execution ownership, and delivery commitments.

End-to-End Implementation and Production Ownership:

• Own technical delivery from initial discovery through architecture, development, testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and customer implementation teams.
• Resolve complex cross-system integration challenges and production issues.
• Ensure implementations meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability expectations.
• Create reusable architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and technical documentation to accelerate future implementations.
• Provide technical feedback to product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise technology, solution architecture, or technical delivery.
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, integration architecture, or enterprise application design.
• Strong hands-on software development background with recent production coding experience.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise SaaS applications and complex customer-facing solutions.
• Proven experience owning technical implementations from solution discovery to production go-live.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience interacting directly with enterprise customers and senior technical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently lead architecture decisions while contributing to hands-on engineering.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Voice AI, Conversational AI, Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI systems.
• Knowledge of AI architecture involving RAG, model evaluation, guardrails, tool integrations, and human escalation.
• Experience with Salesforce, Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect, Twilio, Five9, or similar CCaaS/CPaaS platforms.
• Background in customer experience technology, contact center automation, CRM, or enterprise communication platforms.
• Experience delivering complex integrations in banking, financial services, healthcare, travel, or other enterprise environments.
• Prior experience working with product-based SaaS companies or high-growth startups.
• Exposure to security-sensitive or regulated enterprise environments.
