About the Role

As a Engagement Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of GCC/GBS strategy and advisory engagements - from shaping ambiguous client asks into structured problem statements to leading teams through research, analysis, and executive-ready recommendations.

This role is designed for a hands-on consulting leader who can operate confidently at CXO and senior leadership levels, bring deep credibility in GCC/GBS strategy, and drive predictable outcomes across multiple projects in parallel. In addition to delivery, you will contribute meaningfully to business development, solutioning, and practice development through reusable assets, thought leadership, and team capability building.

What You’ll Do

End-to-End Engagement Leadership

• Own project delivery across multiple engagements - scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk management.
• Translate client priorities into clear workplans, milestones, and executive-aligned outcomes.
• Drive high standards for accuracy, rigor, and client-ready storytelling across all deliverables.

GCC / GBS Strategy & Advisory

• Lead client work across GCC/GBS decision areas such as business case development, insourcing strategies, sourcing models, portfolio optimization, and operating model design.
• Support future-state roadmaps across business processes and technology, grounded in best practices and practical feasibility.
• Provide implementation-oriented guidance (rollout approach, stabilization, shared services evolution) where required.

Research & Insight Development

• Guide teams on deep secondary and primary research; ensure strong fact bases and defensible analysis.
• Apply structured problem solving to derive sharp insights, patterns, and strategic recommendations.
• Validate team outputs and elevate insights into leadership-grade narratives and decision-ready storylines.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with client leadership and key stakeholders; run structured cadences and executive updates.
• Bridge communication across project teams, business units, and leadership to ensure alignment and fast decision-making.
• Resolve ambiguity and manage dependencies, risks, and escalations with calm execution rigor.

Change Management & Transformation Enablement

• Support large transformation programs through structured change management, stakeholder engagement strategies, and adoption planning.
• Drive change execution across complex environments with multiple divisions and high stakeholder density.

Business Development & Solutioning

• Contribute to deal pursuits by participating in client calls, pitching solutions, and shaping proposals/RFP responses.
• Design engagement structures - resource requirements, effort estimates, travel assumptions, and pricing inputs.
• Build proof-of-concepts and sales narratives that increase win probability and client confidence.

Practice Development & Thought Leadership

• Help build the practice through methodologies, frameworks, knowledge nuggets, capability decks, and whitepapers.
• Contribute to website-ready content and reusable assets that scale delivery quality and speed.
• Support practice team building through hiring inputs, onboarding, and capability development.

People Leadership & Coaching

• Lead and coach project teams - research depth, analytical rigor, and consulting-grade communication.
• Set execution standards and review discipline to ensure consistently high-quality outputs.
• Drive team motivation and skill building through structured feedback and training initiatives.

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) from a top-tier university; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in consulting / strategy / transformation / GCC advisory with end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Strong exposure to  GCC/GBS strategy and advisory  (business case, operating models, sourcing/insourcing strategies, transformation roadmaps).
• Comfort operating at CXO levels and across multi-geo, multi-stakeholder client environments.
