IT Manager (Manufacturing Operations)

About the Role:

Wearelookingforanexperiencedandhands-onITManager to lead the IT function at our Vietnam manufacturing site. This role combines people leadership, service ownership, and technical direction across office and manufacturing environments. You willactasthesenioron-siteITleader,workingcloselywithOperations,Engineering,siteleadership,globalITteams,andexternalsupplierstoensurereliable,secure,andeffectiveITservicesthatsupportbusinessandmanufacturingoperations.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, coach, and develop the local IT team, setting clear priorities, objectives, and accountability.

• Own end-to-end local IT service delivery, including SLAs, KPIs, user satisfaction, major incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee IT support across office and manufacturing environments, ensuring reliable and secure IT operations.

• Manage the IT aspects of Operational Technology (OT) environments, including infrastructure, connectivity, cybersecurity controls, access management, and supplier coordination.

• Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to support production systems, plant IT readiness, new production lines, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with corporate IT security standards, architecture requirements, and governance policies.

• Oversee endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and audit action closure.

• Manage local IT infrastructure including network, wireless, VPN, and connectivity services in coordination with global IT teams.

• Lead local IT projects, system implementations, and global technology rollouts.

• Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, assets, and supplier performance while ensuring effective governance and cost control.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or IT management role.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.

• Proven experience in IT service delivery, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and manufacturing technology support.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, Intune, networking, and endpoint management solutions.

• Experience working with global IT teams, third-party vendors, and external service providers.

• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
