Role  

We are looking for a Service Sales Specialist to join our team. This is an Hybrid based in Bangalore role, reporting to the Manager, Services Sales in the Professional Services department. The Service Sales Specialist is a quota-carrying sales professional responsible for driving the success of Zscaler's Professional Services. You will lead the technical scoping, pricing, and value positioning of our service offerings for Enterprise and Commercial clients. Partnering closely with the license sales team, you will craft compelling proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) that accelerate customer value and ensure a smooth transition to our delivery teams.

What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)

• Achieve and exceed quarterly Professional Services (PS) booking targets by selling Zscaler's service packages and custom engagements
• Provide highly responsive support to Account Executives (AEs) via Slack, equipping them with the right PS collateral and sales tools to drive opportunity creation
• Drive and scale PS coverage and visibility across the assigned timezone, ensuring all active AE teams are supported and service opportunities are identified early
• Lead technical scoping sessions with customers to understand their business needs, translating them into implementable solutions while leveraging internal tools like Petra and Service Advisor to streamline scoping, quoting, and service positioning
• Develop and present proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and resource plans that articulate value and differentiators, collaborating with sales, engineering, channel partners, and customer success teams to ensure unified customer outcomes

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role selling Professional Services or complex technology solutions, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets
• 2+ years of experience in technical scoping, producing detailed SOWs, and presenting the value of service engagements
• Strong technical background in security technologies, networking protocols, SaaS, and IaaS models
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced collaboration channels (e.g., Slack) supporting multiple Account Executives simultaneously
• Experience equipping sales teams with appropriate sales collateral and driving services program adoption
