e& is an Emirati telecommunications and technology group founded in 1976 as Etisalat, which rebranded in 2022 to signal a shift from being a national operator into a broader digital business. It runs the incumbent mobile and fixed networks in the United Arab Emirates and holds controlling or significant stakes in operators across some fifteen countries, including Maroc Telecom, PTCL in Pakistan and a large position in Vodafone Group.
