Department of Information Communications Technology

Headquartered in Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles, the Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT) is the primary government authority responsible for national ICT strategy, telecommunications policy, and public sector digital transformation. Operating under the government of Seychelles, the department is organized into two primary divisions: Communications, which develops legislative frameworks, regulatory policies, and oversees national radio frequency spectrum management; and Information Technology, which manages the government’s core digital infrastructure, enterprise network security, software systems, and e-government service delivery platforms (such as the monServis portal). DICT plays a central role in modernizing public administration, enhancing digital connectivity, and advancing Seychelles' transition to a knowledge-based digital economy.
