Overview
Inversion is an aerospace and defense company headquartered in Los Angeles, California, that builds reentry spacecraft designed to deliver cargo from low Earth orbit to anywhere on Earth in under an hour, led by its autonomous, reusable Arc vehicle. Founded in 2021 by former SpaceX and ABL engineers Justin Fiaschetti and Austin Briggs, it flew its first in-house spacecraft Ray, runs a test site in Mojave and is backed by Y Combinator, Spark Capital and Lockheed Martin Ventures. It hires GNC, flight software, avionics, harness, RF, mechanical and aerothermal engineers, integration and test technicians, and business development staff.
