M12

M12 is the venture capital fund of Microsoft, investing in early-stage technology companies that are changing how businesses operate. It focuses on enterprise software, AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and developer tools, typically at Series A and B, and connects portfolio companies with Microsoft's customers and partners. The fund launched in 2016 as Microsoft Ventures, adopted the M12 name in 2018, and is part of Microsoft, based in Redmond, Washington.
