Overview
Sezzle is an American consumer payments company founded in Minneapolis in 2016 that lets shoppers split a purchase into four interest-free instalments at checkout. Unlike most of its competitors it has built a subscription business alongside merchant fees, charging consumers a monthly fee for higher spending limits, longer terms and access to a virtual card usable anywhere, which now supplies a large share of its revenue. The company is listed on Nasdaq, operates mainly in the United States and Canada, and reports credit performance and subscriber counts as its primary operating measures.
