SK hynix is a memory semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1983 and headquartered in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. It is the second largest maker of dynamic random access memory in the world and the leading supplier of high bandwidth memory used in artificial intelligence accelerators. The company operates fabrication plants in Icheon, Cheongju and Wuxi and is building a large new complex in Yongin.
