Twist Bioscience is a synthetic biology company headquartered in South San Francisco, California that manufactures synthetic DNA on a silicon-based platform. Founded in 2013 and listed on Nasdaq, it sells genes, oligo pools, NGS target enrichment panels and library preparation kits, variant libraries and antibody discovery services to researchers in pharma, biotech, diagnostics and academia, with production in South San Francisco and Wilsonville, Oregon and teams in Quincy, Massachusetts, Carlsbad and Asia. It hires manufacturing associates, automation and systems engineers, scientists, bioinformatics specialists, and sales and business development staff.
