Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer with specialized expertise in Video Conferencing (VC) support. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical support for desktop systems, peripherals, and VC technologies, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality user experiences. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing both hardware and software to support a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Desktop Support:
  • Provide end-to-end desktop support for users, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Video Conferencing Support:
  • Provide real-time support during video conferences, ensuring smooth connectivity and resolving any technical issues promptly.
• Technical Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Document and track all incidents, service requests, and resolutions using the company’s ticketing system.
  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Customer Service:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with users, understanding their technical needs, and providing timely solutions.
  • Educate users on self-service tools and general best practices to enhance their technical proficiency.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and support across all IT services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and user guides.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field .
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3years of experience in desktop support or a related IT support role.
  • Proven experience in supporting video conferencing technologies (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Polycom).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Windows 11 and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common desktop applications.
  • Hands-on experience with VC setup (Microsoft Teams. Webex & Zoom)

Certifications: (Preferred but not required)

• A+
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)
• ITIL

Working Conditions:

• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
• On-call support may be required.
