Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS, applications, and enterprise tools
  • Manage Active Directory (user accounts, password resets, group policies)
  • Handle ticketing system (incident management, SLA adherence, documentation)
  • Support email systems (Outlook, Exchange / Microsoft 365)
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and antivirus updates
  • Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity issues
  • Assist in asset management and inventory tracking
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and repairs
  • Provide support for remote users and video conferencing tools
  • Maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps and configurations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in desktop/end-user support
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows 10/11 OS
    • Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
    • Active Directory & user management
    • Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Familiarity with remote support tools
  • Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
