Junior DevOps Engineer

To support reliable and efficient application deployment, infrastructure management, monitoring, and automation while developing practical expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization, scripting, and DevOps practices.

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of applications across client environments. The role provides an opportunity to work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, troubleshooting, and software deployments while collaborating with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying applications to client environments and cloud platforms.
• Configure software and support successful client implementations.
• Support CI/CD processes and application deployment workflows.
• Automate infrastructure setup and maintenance using DevOps tools.
• Monitor cloud servers for availability, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during and after software implementation.
• Deploy software updates, patches, and new releases.
• Support third-party integrations and API implementations.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams during feature releases.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when required.
• Assist in optimizing applications for improved performance and scalability.
• Learn from senior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing activities. 

• Good understanding of DevOps principles and software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Candidates from BIT, BCA, or BSc. CSIT backgrounds are preferred. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. Relevant cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
