Quality Engineer (Tester)

Experience Required: 5-7 years

Job Summary

As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategies, developing automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration.
• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development process.
• Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Own the defect lifecycle, build reusable test suites and automation scripts.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in API Automation is required
• Key skills: Manual + Automation (Selenium/Appium)
• Postman
• JIRA

Nice to Have

• Advanced proficiency in Application Testing is recommended.
• Advanced proficiency in Test Execution and Management, System Integration Testing, and Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation is suggested.
