Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and continuously updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting efficiency. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, ensuring timely analysis and resolution of technical issues to support business continuity and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Participate in the development and improvement of operational processes to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Experience in managing virtual environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, storage management, and network integration within virtualized infrastructures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and optimize system performance.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions related to virtualized environments.
- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting to streamline virtualization tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
