Sales Director US

Join Akur8, a fast-growing InsurTech scale-up on a mission to modernize how insurers assess, price, and manage risk. As a Sales Director US, you will own the US territory, manage the entire sales cycle, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and drive revenue performance. You will be part of our North American sales team and work closely with various teams across the company. This role is ideally based in New York City, but remote candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones will also be considered.

Missions

• As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for owning your territory and the associated quota, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, and managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• You will build relationships with Chief Actuaries, Chief Underwriting Officers, Chief Data Officers, CIOs, CFOs, CTOs, and other senior decision-makers, and work on and submit proposals, as well as negotiate contracts with clients.
• You will lead complex enterprise sales from first conversation through contract signature and expansion, and work closely with actuarial data science, solutions, marketing, customer success, product, and leadership teams.
