About the Role  

As an Fullstack Developer Intern (Python, Vue.js & RESTful APIs), you’ll work closely with experienced developers and product team members to contribute to real product featureson the AlayaCare Cloud platform, a 24/7 SaaS platform supporting more than 13 million care visits every month and processing over 5 billion HTTP requests monthlyacross multiple regions. 

Throughout your internship, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects while learning modern development practices, tools, and workflows. You’ll be supported by mentors who will help you develop both your technical abilities and professional skills.  

What You’llDo  

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software features. 

• Use GenAI tools to help plan, generate, and test features. 

• Pair-program with senior developers and participate in code reviews to learn best practices. 

• Write and maintain automated tests with guidance from team members. 

• Help investigate, reproduce, and resolve bugs under supervision. 

• Participate in team rituals such as standups, demos, and retrospectives. 

• Learn and apply modern development practices, including directing AI Agents, CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring. 

What You Bring to the Team  

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar). 

• Highly motivated to learn development tools and workflows such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker. 

• Curiosity about current industry trends in technology, performance, and software development practices to deliver business results. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teammates. 

• Interest in developing yourself as a full stack developer as you’ll implement in both Front-End and Back-End code. 

• Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.

Location and Work Model  

This role is based in Montreal at our offices on 4200 Boulevard Saint-Laurent. AlayaCare hybrid model includes a minimum of in-office days to foster connection, innovation, and teamwork.
