Product Manager - Data Platform

The Product Manager and data platform co-leads the vision, strategy, and roadmap of data platform capabilities at Alegeus. This individual will lead work closely with the Data Platform Product and Engineering team, located predominantly in Bangalore, to deliver impactful data capabilities to our partners. You will work closely with other Alegeus product domain teams to diagnose and prioritize key opportunities to deliver compelling end-user-facing data and insights capabilities. You will define and deliver reusable, high-leverage data platform capabilities that power data access, insights, and AI enablement for end users and internally within Alegeus. This includes structured data products, foundational data services, and enablement of both operational and analytical use cases. You will work in close collaboration with engineering, AI, data science, and domain product teams to unlock the full potential of Alegeus' data assets. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technical depth, user empathy, and business judgment, with proven expertise in delivering data platform capabilities at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a market-leading product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and insights products and data platform services across the Alegeus product portfolio.
• Partner closely with the Data Engineering and Data Science team to plan and execute end-to-end product development lifecycle delivery across 2 AI scrum teams and in conjunction with other product domain scrum teams
• Deliver reusable platform capabilities that make it easy for partners to access their data and power actionable insights features for partners, employers, and participants
• Partner closely with predominantly US-based end-user-facing product domain teams to deliver compelling data and insights capabilities into compelling end-user-facing use cases.
• Work closely with the AI Product and Engineering teams to ensure the data platform provides the structured, real-time, and unstructured data needed for AI and agentic use cases.
• Drive cross-company alignment to ensure the Data platform roadmap is integrated with Alegeus' overall product and business strategy.
• Source and test high-potential data platform concepts iteratively to disposition through focused problem and solution discovery.
• Partner with data engineering teams (Bangalore-based) to deliver capabilities across data ingestion, transformation, quality, and access APIs.
• Develop and maintain a robust fact base to inform current and future data platform direction, including but not limited to market and technology trends, customer and internal feedback, product analytics, and competitive intelligence
• Commercialize and evangelize data platform capabilities to end users in partnership with product managers in other domains.
• Oversee execution of product management Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle operational best practices that deliver compelling products predictably and efficiently at scale.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of B2B product management experience, ideally in platform, data, or infrastructure roles within SaaS or enterprise technology companies.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling data platforms, data APIs, and reusable services; experience with data lakehouses, real-time processing, or governed self-service data is a strong plus.
• Deep technical fluency across data architectures, modeling, transformation pipelines, and modern data platforms.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, particularly in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries (preferred).
• Demonstrated success working in global, cross-functional teams across India and the U. S.
