Application Support

Location: Montréal, QC, Hybrid, mandatory on-site presence 2 days per week  (typically Mondays and Wednesdays)
Language: Fluent English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Duration: 6 months to start, contract to hire as a permanent full-time employee
Availability:

• Availability to support deployments and Major Incidents outside standard hours
• Midnight to 7am weekdays (once every 6 weeks)
• Patching over weekend nights (30-45min tests once or twice a month maximum)

About the Opportunity
Join a collaborative digital experience team supporting high-traffic web and mobile applications within the retail pharmacy sector. As an L2 Application Support Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining production stability, investigating complex issues and supporting reliable digital experiences across web, iOS and Android platforms.

You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary Agile team of developers, business analysts, architecture, DevOps and project professionals. This is an opportunity for an experienced support professional who enjoys getting beneath the surface of an issue, connecting signals across multiple systems and helping teams make informed decisions during incidents and releases.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll investigate production incidents using telemetry, logs, application signals and monitoring data to identify symptoms and potential root causes.
• You’ll monitor applications using Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor and synthetic monitoring tools such as Dotcom-Monitor.
• You’ll coordinate incident response across application, cloud, infrastructure, platform and external partner teams.
• You’ll contribute to Root Cause Analysis, post-incident reviews and follow-up actions that strengthen production stability.
• You’ll supervise web, API, mobile and infrastructure changes, including deployment monitoring, validation and stabilization.
• You’ll support overnight deployments, weekend patching activities and Major Incident coverage when required.
• You’ll communicate clearly with technical teams, stakeholders and management, adapting your message to the audience.

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant application support or production operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor and synthetic monitoring concepts.
• Strong incident management, change management and production support experience.
• A structured, hypothesis-driven investigative approach with strong root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting web applications, backend services or APIs, and iOS and Android applications.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional Agile environment.
• QA, web or mobile validation experience and mobile crash analytics exposure are considered assets.
