Accounts Receivable Teamleader

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and support the Accounts Receivable team.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and account transactions.
• Monitor outstanding customer accounts, debt collection, and accounts receivable ageing reports.
• Prepare customer account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support effective debt recovery.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Participate in all Accounts Receivable training sessions with the team.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with a financial background and a qualification in Accounting.
• Minimum of two years' experience in an accounts receivable/debtors environment.
• Proven ability to supervise, guide, and support a team will be an advantage.
• Ability to interact effectively with others in a respectful and professional manner.
• Excellent planning, organising, controlling, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
