Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join our team in Aberdeen, AB10 7GJ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced culinary professional to lead a kitchen team, deliver exceptional food experiences, and play a key role in the success of a busy catering operation.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service
- Planning, preparing, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality meals
- Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Managing stock control, ordering, and stock rotation
- Supporting budget management and minimising waste
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health and safety procedures
- Training, coaching, and developing team members
- Building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high operational standards

- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Working hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm
- No regular evening shifts

- Previous experience in a Head Chef or senior chef position
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Passion for producing high-quality food
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Good knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation
- Ability to manage a busy kitchen operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
