The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the team you will be working with the tech lead and technical architect, to define and implement the unified IAM solution. Which will be offered to and adopted by all of Arrive.
Your contributions will help the team to deliver a very high impact strategic piece of Arrive’s architecture and will be a big journey.
Your contributions will help us make the right choices with authentication, authorisation and find the right solutions which will help us serve the needs of all our customers.
You will be working as part of the wider Developer’s experience providing platforms for product teams by abstracting away some of the complexities, allowing them to focus on what really matters: solving hard problems and creating a great experience for our customers.
Everyday life as a Senior Software Engineer
Design, develop, test, and deliver features and technical improvements that support our business goals.
Take ownership of the quality, reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the software your team owns.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads, engineers, users, and stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into effective technical solutions.
Plan, refine, estimate, and manage your work while keeping the team informed of progress, dependencies, and challenges.
Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, technical discussions, and workshops, contributing to a strong engineering culture and continuous improvement.
Help evaluate technical approaches and make pragmatic decisions that balance business needs, quality, and long-term maintainability.
Contribute to releases, automated testing, and engineering best practices across the team and chapter.
Support and mentor other developers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and helping the team grow.
Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and building a collaborative and high-performing engineering team.
About you:

Background:
3-6+ years of programming experience
Experience in developing solutions which provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) preferred
Experienced with Java
Experienced with Microservice development
Experienced with Single Sign-On implementations
