Job Title: Platform Lead Guidewire

· As the Platform Lead, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Guidewire SaaS platform's reliability, scalability, and performance while streamlining the development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire Guidewire DevOps lifecycle,Test automation , collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery and deployment of Guidewire solutions.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

· Develop and implement a robust DevOps strategy that aligns with our business objectives and accelerates the delivery of high-quality solutions.

· Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for applications to improve release management efficiency (e.g., Insurance Workbench).

· Develop the Quality Engineering ,test automation strategy, roadmap, KPIs, standards, and practices for the platform and agile product teams.

· Assess product team requirements and propose test automation solutions to enhance efficiency.

· Mentor and collaborate with product Scrum teams, providing guidance on test automation best practices.

· Manage and optimize environments (sandbox, development, testing, and production) to ensure stability and consistency.

· Plan and coordinate the release schedules, including release notes, rollback plans, and communication to stakeholders.

· Ensure deployed code adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection and privacy regulations by establishing appropriate security checks.

· Implement monitoring tools and practices to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks.

· Identify opportunities for automation within the DevOps process to reduce manual efforts.

· Lead and mentor DevOps /Test Automation /Release & Platform engineers, Platform architect of the Guidewire platform and collaborate across cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality solutions. Provide technical guidance and promote best practices throughout the DevOps process.

· Champion a product-led agile approach to development, aligning the team's efforts with the product vision, customer needs, and business objectives.

· You will report to the Head of Digital Factory Delivery.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in JAVA/.NET/JS for test automation /Test Automation Frameworks.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Datadog, teamcity etc.).

Deep understanding in Security testing tools ( CheckMarx, SonarQube etc)

Microfocus Testing tools (ALM QC ,PC & UFT) & JMETER.

Proven experience as a Platform Lead, with a track record of successfully delivering complex Guidewire cloud solutions in complex enterprise environments, insurance domain expertise is a plus.

Excellent Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Harness, Dynatrace, Git, Bitbucket, and Datadog.

In-depth knowledge and experiences in Design Thinking, UX, CX, BPMN, and cloud-based integration.

Significant leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively guide and collaborate with development product squads, stakeholders, and business users.

A deep understanding of (Scaled) Agile principles and a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Ability to adapt to changing product requirements and embrace emerging technologies and industry trends.

Familiarity with agile tools and software, such as JIRA and Confluence.

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.

Familiarity with JIRA & JIRA X-Ray, Azure, GHE, JFrog/Nexus Artifactory.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new test automation technologies and tools Azure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and devise effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
