We'rehiring a Senior Software Engineer to own and deliver complex front-end features for our web products. Working closely with design and backend engineering, you'llbuild responsive, high-quality user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, take end-to-end ownership of components within your scope, and raise engineering standards through code review and testing practices. This role suits an experienced front-end engineer who can work independently on well-defined but non-trivial problems and contribute to the technical growth of the wider team.

What You'll Do:

• Own the design, build, and delivery of complex front-end features and components independently, keeping milestones on track within your scope. 
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to translate design concepts and requirements into responsive, efficient user interfaces. 
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code using modern front-end frameworks (React, with Next.js where applicable), following team standards. 
• Own code quality and maintainability for major components in your scope, including identifying and reducing technical debt. 
• Implement robust unit and integration tests for critical paths, and maintain strong local and CI test stability for your changes. 
• Participate in code reviews, providing clear, constructive feedback that maintains and raises code quality and team standards. 
• Communicate progress, risks, and testing readiness clearly with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other immediate stakeholders. 
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day practical guidance. 
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and prototype solutions to support complex web application development. 
• Evaluate emerging front-end tools, patterns, and practices, and recommend improvements to the team's development process. 

Who You Are:

• 6-9 years of professional front-end development experience. 
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. 
• Extensive experience with React; familiarity with Next.js is a plus. 
• Solid understanding of state-management approaches (e.g., Redux, Redux-Saga, Thunk, Zustand). 
• Experience with front-end tooling such as Webpack, Vite, Storybook, and npm. 
• Working knowledge of common front-end UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap). 
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests as part of the development workflow. 
• Familiarity with Node.js and API concepts (RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices architecture) sufficient to collaborate effectively with backend engineers. 
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows, and prior work in an Agile/Scrum environment. 
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly with cross-functional stakeholders, including design and product partners.
