The Role:
As an Electrical Engineer I you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of electrical systems that enable warehouse automation and customer operations. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help deliver reliable hardware solutions, support product development activities, and gain hands-on experience with automated systems, controls, and electrical integration.
This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn, contribute to real-world engineering projects, and develop expertise in industrial automation and robotics technologies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and validation of electrical systems and components.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Support integration activities between electrical hardware, controls systems, and software platforms.
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of electrical systems and products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field engineering.
Support development efforts to improve product reliability, safety, and performance.
Assist with prototype builds, laboratory testing, and product verification activities.
Follow engineering processes, standards, and best practices while developing technical solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
0-2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or professional experience.
Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering principles and circuit design.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Basic knowledge of power distribution, sensors, motors, actuators, and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Basic understanding of engineering problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
Exposure to CAD or electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Altium, or similar software.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Must not require visa support to work in the USA
