The difference you’ll make

You’ll be instrumental in shaping the front-end experience of our lending platform as we continue to grow our industry-leading products. Working across customer, broker and internal tools, you’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering to translate ideas and designs into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that feel consistent, considered and genuinely easy to use.

Beyond delivery, you’ll help raise the bar for UI and UX across the business; challenging conventions, refining our front-end codebase and influencing how we think about design-led development. Your work will directly impact how customers experience their home-owning journey and help set the standard for how modern lending products should look and feel.

What you’ll do:

• Build and develop performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.

• Collaborate with the product & tech teams to implement feature designs across our customer and internal software.

• Write robust, well-tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactor.

• Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.

• Execute AI-led engineering to design, build, and accelerate the delivery of modern applications.

• Contribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.

• Mentor and elevate other engineers, championing engineer best practices and a culture of quality.

What we're looking for:

• 5 years + working as a front end developer.

• 5+ years experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and React Native.

• Strong Javascript and Typescript fundamentals and deep understanding of the web platform.

• Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications.

• Experience working with Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and third-party services.

• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.

• Experience working with AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.

• Comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end from architecture to delivery and thrive in environments where you drive the “how”.

• You enjoy mentoring others, offering constructive feedback, and lifting the technical bar.

• Experience with modern UI frameworks and component libraries such as ShadCN, Radix UI, Primevue or equivalent.

• Thinks from first principles and can break problems down to fundamentals instead of relying on patterns or libraries by default.

• Ambitious individual who has a passion for UI, UX and be part of a growing business.

• Positive attitude to the day to day with good interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail in documentation and ticket descriptions.

• Strong communication skills.
