Senior Lead Quality Engineer

Job requirements

Experience Range: 5 to 8 years of experience in quality engineering, including substantial hands-on expertise in microservices testing and automation Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust quality assurance strategies for microservices-based systems to ensure high reliability and scalability
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, achieving targeted test coverage metrics
• Manage test data creation, manipulation, and maintenance to support comprehensive test coverage across multiple environments
• Configure and execute API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Rest-Assured to validate RESTful and SOAP services, ensuring adherence to performance and security standards
• Utilize Zephyr for test management, tracking test execution, and reporting results to stakeholders with actionable insights
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate quality processes into CI/CD pipelines, enhancing release efficiency and reducing defect rates
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers in test automation and integration design
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing optimizations in test coverage, performance, and reliability

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in test data management for microservices
• Strong experience with Postman for API testing
• Expertise in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
• Hands-on experience with SoapUI for functional and security testing
• Skilled in Zephyr for test management and reporting
• In-depth knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Proficiency in Rest-Assured for automated API validation
• Microservices architecture testing and automation
• Integration validation in distributed systems

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow in Salesforce environments
• Knowledge of Agentforce or Prompt Builder for advanced configuration in Salesforce
• Expertise in CPQ configuration for enterprise applications
• Data-model design for large-scale microservices applications
• Experience with integration design for cross-platform microservices systems
• Familiarity with code review tools such as SonarQube or GitHub code review

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
• Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certification
• ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification or similar credential
