Role Summary
Campfire is hiring an Integrations Specialist to sit on the Implementation team and own the customer-facing side of integrations. Our customers typically migrate to Campfire from ERPs like NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Sage Intacct, then connect the systems they run every day - CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot, spend tools like Ramp and Float, billing platforms like Stripe, payroll providers like Rippling and Justworks, plus banks and data warehouses. You'll set up those connections, troubleshoot issues when they come up, and bring what you learn back to Product and Engineering. This role is for someone who understands how integrations work well enough to configure them, diagnose problems, and be a clear, credible bridge between customers, Implementation, and the engineers who build the underlying connectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sit within the Implementation team and partner with Implementation Managers to set up integrations between Campfire and customer ERP/GL systems, banks, payroll providers, and data warehouses during onboarding
Configure and enable Campfire's existing integrations and data connections for customers - this role sets up and troubleshoots integrations rather than building new ones
Troubleshoot integration issues (sync failures, mapping errors, connectivity problems) and drive them to resolution, looping in Engineering when a fix needs new code
Serve as the point of contact and escalation resource for integration issues raised by Support, Customer Experience, or customers directly
Validate data accuracy after setup and during ongoing syncs
Document common integration issues, setup steps, and troubleshooting playbooks for internal and customer use
Gather and synthesize feedback on integration gaps and pain points, and take it to Product and Engineering to advocate for fixes and roadmap improvements
Represent the Implementation team's and customers' perspective in Product/Engineering discussions about integrations
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years in an implementation, integrations support, or technical customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS or fintech company
Comfortable reading and reasoning about APIs, webhooks, and data mapping well enough to configure, troubleshoot, and clearly describe issues - not required to write integration code
Working knowledge of accounting/GL concepts (chart of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, close processes), or the ability to learn them quickly
Familiarity with the ERPs customers migrate from (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and hands-on experience with the systems Campfire connects to - CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), spend tools (Ramp, Float), billing platforms (Stripe), payroll providers (Rippling, Justworks), or bank feeds
Comfortable with SQL and structured data (CSV/JSON/XML) for diagnosing issues
Strong troubleshooting instincts - able to isolate whether an issue is data, configuration, or connectivity, and know when to loop in Engineering
Clear written and verbal communication; able to translate technical issues for both customers and internal Product/Engineering teams
Able to manage multiple concurrent integration setups in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with iPaaS/integration tooling (Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier, or similar) as a user or configurer
Background in accounting, finance, or consulting (CPA or CPA-track a plus)
Experience with bank connectivity or treasury data feeds
Prior experience at a high-growth startup or an implementation-heavy SaaS company
Experience working cross-functionally with Product or Engineering teams to turn customer feedback into roadmap input
