Join Cboe Europe, one of the largest pan-European equities markets, as a Senior Software Engineer. You will be responsible for building and operating the technology behind our trading systems, working closely with both European and US teams. Your role will involve designing and implementing high-performance C++ functionality, mentoring other engineers, and providing technical support. A strong background in modern C++, Linux environments, and real-time trading systems is required.

Missions

Design, implement, and extend high-performance C++ functionality across multiple Equities Trading Environments.
Take ownership of features end-to-end, coordinating with other engineers and business stakeholders from design through to delivery.
Mentor other software engineers, and act as subject matter expert for one or more of our systems.

Profil recherché

- A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working directly with stakeholders across the business

- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of less experienced engineers

- A track record of taking ownership of features or projects from design through to production

- Significant experience working with modern C++ (C++11 at a minimum, C++20 is a plus), including implementing low-level, high-performance solutions

- Experience working and developing for Linux environments

- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar fields

- Exposure to low-latency or real-time trading systems

- Experience with SQL and relational databases, and Python
