About the Role
This is a hands-on engineering role embedded directly with major enterprise customers across the DACH region, helping them become genuinely AI-native. You'll partner with the Enterprise AI Transformation Lead to scope, build, and ship production-grade AI agents and integrations that deliver real, measurable value - and then feed those learnings back into the core platform.
What You'll Do
Serve as the on-the-ground engineer at key DACH enterprise accounts, working closely alongside the Enterprise AI Transformation Lead.
Embed on-site with customers to run workshops, hackathons, and implementation sprints.
Scope, build, integrate, debug, and teach teams to adopt production AI agents and multi-step workflows.
Ship end-to-end, high-leverage use cases including complex agents, custom integrations, MCP servers, and multi-step workflows.
Act as a technical peer and sparring partner for customer CTOs and platform teams.
Leave behind systems that customers can own and operate independently.
Identify platform limitations, work directly with internal engineering, and often write fixes yourself.
Drive product improvements by surfacing and implementing customer-driven changes.
Build agents that automate your own repetitive work.
Travel regularly across the DACH region with a base in Munich.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of enterprise software engineering experience delivering production-grade AI agentic workflows.
Proven track record shipping agentic AI systems, tool-use loops, and LLM features that operate under load.
Strong full-stack engineering skills with the ability to scope and implement end-to-end solutions, including external integrations and multi-step workflows.
Hands-on experience working on-site with large DACH enterprise customers - running workshops and hackathons, scoping complex use cases in live customer meetings, and delivering end-to-end.
Experience building custom integrations with enterprise systems and MCP servers for agent deployment.
Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Native-level German proficiency.
High agency, strong ownership, and comfort operating with minimal direction.
Nice to have: Go experience; founder or early-employee background; experience with AI-assisted coding tools for building agents.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: €80,000 - €150,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with significant travel expected across the DACH region.
