About the Role
A role on the founding team helping shape an enterprise-grade energy procurement platform. You will own the full product lifecycle from idea to deployment and work closely with customers and founders to turn market data into scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
Take ownership of end to end product development from design to deployment
Translate product objectives into clear technical requirements in collaboration with customers
Design simple, iterative solutions for complex procurement and energy problems
Develop performant backend services for a data intensive application
Build intuitive user interfaces for a complex decision support system
Train time series forecasting models for power consumption and renewables production
Develop linear optimisation algorithms to reduce customer energy costs
Help select and shape the core tech stack including PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React and Python
What We're Looking For
Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience delivering robust, scalable web applications in a startup environment
Product mindset with the ability to deliver full product features independently with customers
Hands on or strong interest in time series forecasting and or linear optimisation
Comfort across backend and frontend domains; familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React and Python is a plus
Experience building frontend UI for complex decision support systems and backend services for data intensive applications
Early stage startup experience preferred; broad technical leadership experience is a plus
Curiosity about energy markets and data driven business applications
Willingness to work on site in Munich for the majority of the week with some remote flexibility
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: 85,000 EUR to 140,000 EUR annually
