Product Engineer
About the Role
This is a foundational product engineering role on a small, high-caliber founding team building an AI-powered platform for private market operations. You will lead the design and development of the core interface through which operations teams interact with AI agents, making automated outputs trustworthy and easy to act on. Your work will directly shape how users experience AI at work, from first interaction to final approval.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain the product's design system and UX patterns for complex, workflow-driven applications.
Build product interfaces that connect users to AI agents and various data sources.
Create human-in-the-loop flows for reviewing, approving, and acting on AI agent outputs.
Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and continuously refine product features.
What We're Looking For
1 to 7 years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong product intuition and UX craft.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
Hands-on experience developing, documenting, or evolving design systems for complex applications.
A track record building workflow-driven interfaces that involve human review, exception handling, or approval flows.
Practical experience working with AI, ML, or LLM products, including designing for trustworthy presentation of automated outputs.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions.
Comfort iterating closely with operations stakeholders.
Exposure to private markets or financial operations is a plus.
Willingness and ability to work on-site in Berlin.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 70,000 to 110,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany. This role requires in-person presence and is not available remotely.
