Sales Development Representative
About the Role
This is a founding sales hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building software for the commercial and industrial battery energy storage (BESS) market across the DACH region and Europe. You'll own the outbound pipeline from day one, working directly alongside founders to drive revenue growth and bring the product to installers, manufacturers, and wholesalers at scale.
What You'll Do
Build and manage an outbound pipeline through cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach targeting C-level decision-makers.
Work closely with the founding team to test pitch angles, refine messaging, and sharpen outreach strategies.
Identify and engage prospects across the DACH region and broader European markets.
Leverage CRM systems, AI-powered prospecting tools, and sales automation platforms to maximise outreach efficiency.
Take full ownership of pipeline metrics and consistently work toward ambitious growth targets.
What We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS outbound sales or a high-velocity sales environment.
Demonstrated track record executing cold outreach campaigns (calls, email sequences, LinkedIn) and meeting or exceeding quota.
Experience building and managing outbound pipelines independently, with hands-on use of CRM and sales automation tools.
Native or bilingual German proficiency and fluent English - both are required.
Self-starter mindset with strong ownership, high energy, and comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
Bonus: familiarity with modern AI-powered outbound tooling, or prior exposure to CleanTech, BESS, or energy sector markets.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: €60,000 - €80,000 annually, plus an uncapped performance bonus.
Equity participation via a VSOP/equity package with standard vesting.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany (Hamburg or Kiel also considered). This is a fully on-site role.
