Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce solution design, development, integrations, and data migration. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and pre-sales teams to define solution architecture, support solutioning and estimation activities, and ensure successful project delivery. Experience with Apex, Lightning components, integrations, and Salesforce best practices is required. Prior experience in Public Sector or Government projects is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on industry best practices and business requirements.

Work with pre-sales, and business stakeholders to lead solution design, effort estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations.

Architect and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions, providing technical leadership for integrations, customizations, best practices, and successful project execution.

Manage the implementation of improvements and new functionality in Salesforce applications.

Provide support and solutions for break/fix issues.

Communicate and collaborate with technical resources and stakeholders regarding project status, technical issues, and solutions.

Perform Salesforce administration tasks (e.g., creating accounts/profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards).

Support Salesforce.com configuration tasks, such as field/page updates, workflows, and automated approvals.

Assist with data migration-related activities for system cutover and Salesforce go-live.

Manage multiple projects and priorities using project management methodologies to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.

Monitor Salesforce.com usage to ensure compliance and maintain data security.

Interface with business analysts and technical staff to deliver complete work products.

Implement and integrate AppExchange platforms.

Research and resolve integration issues, collaborating with operations and development teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of Salesforce experience with strong expertise in solution architecture, Apex, LWC, integrations, estimation, and pre-sales activities.

Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and the ability to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.

Proven client-facing consulting experience; Public Sector/Government project experience is a strong advantage.

Experience working with Presales and Solutioning.

Proven expertise in Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services.

Extensive experience with Salesforce development and implementation.

Proficiency with VSCode, Salesforce DX, and Git version control and experience with Salesforce development and deployment tools.

Salesforce certifications are mandatory.

Preferred Skills

Strong combination of business acumen and deep technical expertise in Salesforce.com.

Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with technical and non-technical audiences across geographically dispersed teams (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face).

Proficient in producing high-quality technical documentation and analysis.

Proactively recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative problem-solving.

Highly self-motivated with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
