AI Engineer

We are searching for an experienced AI Engineer to join our client’s Agentic Transformation Group and help define the future of enterprise AI. In this role, you’ll be at the coalface of the agentic AI shift - building the systems that let brands respond to their customers with more intelligence, more speed, and more humanity than ever before. As part of the AI Engineering Centre of Excellence, you will design and build features and components within client engagements. You’ll work hands-on on multi-agent systems - writing production-grade code and partnering with Product Managers to make sure it delivers real value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement features within AI agents and multi-agent systems, including the infrastructure to deploy, orchestrate, and scale them across cloud environments.
• Apply engineering best practice (version control, testing, code review, documentation), and partner with your Product Manager to build eval harnesses that prove real client value.
• Scope moderately ambiguous problems into a clear plan with support from AI Architects and Product Managers.
• Stay closely tuned to new LLMs, agentic frameworks, and architectural patterns, and bring relevant developments into your own work quickly.
• Explain your work clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues, and collaborate with AI Consultants, AI Architects and Product Managers on client solutions.
• Review others’ code, identify opportunities to reuse existing components, and contribute to practice deep dives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python skills, with experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or ML components.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practice (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-based applications
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Working knowledge of modern agentic technologies (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) and protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional, global teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• A proven track record of building AI agents with tool-use capabilities in production.
• Experience with vector databases, RAG systems, and embedding-based architectures.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.
• An interest in enterprise AI governance, safety, alignment, or verification workflows.
