Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

The responsibility of the BI Analyst is turn sales data into revenue-impacting insight that improves pipeline health, conversion, forecasting accuracy, pricing, and account growth. This role is decision-support, not just reporting

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain sales performance dashboards (pipeline, bookings, revenue, churn)
  • Analyze sales funnel metrics and identify conversion bottlenecks
  • Partner with Sales Ops to improve forecast accuracy and pipeline rigor
  • Conduct account-level and territory-level analyses to support growth strategies
  • Deliver regular sales insights for MBRs/QBRs
  • Support pricing, discount, and margin analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with: Sales, Finance, Marketing & RevOps
  • Ensure data accuracy across CRM and BI systems

Hiring Requirements

  • Analytical & Technical

· Advanced SQL

· BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)

· Strong Excel / Power Query

· CRM data (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot)

· Data modeling & KPI definition

  • Business & Sales Acumen (Critical)

· Understanding of:

o B2B sales cycles

o Enterprise vs SMB sales models

o Quotas, territories, pipeline stages

  • Ability to challenge sales assumptions with data

Soft Skills

  • Ability to communicate with senior sales leaders
  • Strong storytelling skills
  • Practical, action-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable influencing without authorit
