System & Database Support Engineer / Oracle Database Specialist (over $60K)

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct system design, analysis, and implementation for various IT systems.
Perform database setup, configuration, and implementation.
Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and troubleshoot system issues.
Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for mission-critical systems.
Ensure system availability, performance, security, and reliability.
Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
Collaborate with project teams to support system deployment and enhancement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c or above.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or above.
Solid experience in database administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:
VMware ESXi 6.5 or above
JBoss EAP 8.0 or above
Supporting Internet applications deployed on GCIS
Linux Shell Scripting
Government projects or large-scale enterprise system support environments
