Client Operations Analyst (CPT Onsite)

POSITION INFO:
ENVIRONMENT: ENSURE that pro-active high-quality service is delivered meeting the complexity and demands of a designated set of clients, invested via an Investment Management Agreement or equivalent as the next Client Operations Analyst sought by an Independent Asset Management Firm. Joining the Client Operations Team based across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, USA, Germany and the United Kingdom, you will liaise professionally with clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc., effect query management and resolution while maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records and actively contributing to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes. The successful incumbent will have a suitable BCom\/BBusSci or similar Degree with 3-5 years Investment Management industry experience, preferably in a role with exposure to Asset Management or Financial Services clients including Client Relationship Management. You will also require financial market knowledge (instruments & products), Financial Accounting experience and be proficient with Advanced MS Excel.   DUTIES: ·        Liaise professionally with clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc.). ·        Be effective at query management and resolution. ·        Collaborate cross-functionally with Investment Operations, Client Directors, Portfolio Managers, Performance & Attribution, Dealing, Implementations, Finance, Fund Operations. ·        Perform ongoing KYC of clients. ·        Effective liaison with Back-office Administrators. ·        Provide information\/support to Client Directors. ·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records. ·        Identify inefficiencies in processes. ·        Actively contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes.   REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – ·        B Com \/ B Bus Sci or another similar Degree.   Experience\/Skills – ·        3-5 Years Investment Management industry experience, preferably in a role with exposure to Asset Management or Financial Services clients. ·        Client Relationship Management experience in the Investment Management industry. ·        Financial market knowledge (instruments and products). ·        Financial Accounting experience. ·        Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel.   Advantageous - ·        Power Automate, Power BI, SQL or similar. ·        Experience leveraging AI platforms (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and decision-making.   ATTRIBUTES: ·        A client focused and collaborative mindset. ·        A strong belief in doing the right thing. ·        The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships. ·        Intellectual curiosity, motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes. ·        Ambition, balanced with decency and humanity. ·        Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information.
