SDET - AI Mobile Automation

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
• Build and execute mobile automation test suites using Appium.
• Leverage Agentic AI, Generative AI, and AI-powered testing tools to improve test creation, execution, maintenance, and defect analysis.
• Develop AI-assisted testing workflows to enhance automation efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Continuously optimise automation frameworks by adopting modern AI-driven testing practices.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in QA automation / SDET / mobile automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI (Mandatory).
• Strong experience with generative AI and AI-powered development/testing tools (mandatory).
• Experience using AI assistants for automation development, test generation, debugging, and productivity improvements.
• Strong experience in mobile automation testing (Android and iOS).
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with API testing.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Good to Have:

• Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI agents.
• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks or autonomous testing workflows.
• Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc. ).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerised testing environments.
• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Basic SQL and database testing knowledge.
