Senior Android Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Android Developer with 4-6 years of experience in building, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, Android architecture, Android internals, REST APIs, and Kotlin Coroutines, along with experience building applications from scratch and managing production-ready apps.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Android applications.
• Build Android applications from scratch with a strong focus on architecture and code quality.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Java/Kotlin.
• Implement Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, VIPER, or similar patterns.
• Integrate REST APIs, web services, and JSON into Android applications.
• Develop a responsive and user-friendly Android UI following Android design principles.
• Implement asynchronous operations using Kotlin Coroutines.
• Work with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, Gson, Jackson, etc.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Identify and resolve performance, memory, and concurrency-related issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality applications.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to application architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures and algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Good knowledge of Android internals and Android UI design principles.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM, MVP, VIPER, or similar architecture patterns.
• Experience building Android applications from scratch.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience with libraries such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, and Gson/Jackson.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience publishing and/or managing at least one application on the Google Play Store.
• Good understanding of memory management and concurrency.

Good to Have:

• Experience in Android application performance optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale or consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Git.
• Strong understanding of mobile application security and best practices.
