Responsibilities:

  • Build backend services and APIs powering Dextr's AI platform.
  • Develop customer-facing product features across web and internal applications.
  • Integrate third-party hospitality platforms, payment systems, telephony providers, and external APIs.
  • Work with LLM-powered workflows and AI agents to solve real customer problems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Debug production issues and improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers.
  • Learn modern engineering practices including cloud infrastructure, observability, CI/CD, and AI-assisted software development.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (Prefered) or TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience building REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Docker
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Basic understanding of LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, or RAG.
  • Personal projects using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, or MCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
