Provide technical guidance/solutions for the challenges during the execution of the project.

Attend the project site daily to oversee ongoing construction activities. Monitor and control quality of work, support execution team and the sub-contractors in achieving the Project Quality requirements.

Lead all project meeting related to QA/QC. Conduct Quality site walks with Execution team/sub-contractors/consultants

Establish and maintain Project Quality Plan defining/detailing the Procedures/process in compliance with project specification and Amana Quality management system

Lead initiatives to embed a quality-focused mindset within the project team, providing training and reinforcing quality standards.

Lead internal Quality Control inspections, ensuring all site activities and materials meet quality standards before external inspections.

Coordinate with Project team, Subcontractors, Testing Lab, and Consultants to conduct work inspections & material inspections as per the approved ITP

Conduct site surveillance, identify and report any Non-conformances (NCR) observed and ensure that the required corrective actions are taken, root causes are analyzed and preventive actions are well-placed and communicated.

Lead the process of closing NCRs by guiding the project team in conducting detailed root cause analysis and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

Lead significant work inspections with the authority, ensuring full regulatory compliance and addressing any issues during inspections.

Oversee the documentation process, reviewing records and reports for accuracy and compliance with project requirements and best practices. Ensure documentation is aligned with contractual obligations.

Lead quality-related discussions with key stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing solutions to ensure quality standards are met.

Oversee the updating and maintenance of inspection logs, ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and proper monitoring of all project quality-related data.

Prepares Quality Assurance report by creating key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the current processes such as number of non-conformance reports (NCR), number of inspection rejection, volume of rework, etc.

Monitor quality data and perform initial analysis to identify trends and recurring issues. Support in preparing dashboards and reports for tracking key metrics.

Study all project documents, including detailed analysis of contracts, PTCs, and value engineering documents to ensure alignment with project quality objectives.

Audit and evaluate subcontractor QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) performance during and at the end of each project. Lead inspections of major subcontractor work both on and off-site.

Prepare method statements and ITPs for site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and the quality plan. Ensure that all site activities strictly follow the approved method statements and escalate deviations to management.

Lead activity-specific training for staff, ensuring full awareness of execution methods, project quality requirements, and authority regulations. Verify that the team is equipped with knowledge for inspections and tests.

Lead the implementation of digital inspection tools, ensuring that data is accurately captured and stored in the digital system. Monitor and validate that the digital quality data is being utilized for reporting and analysis.

Lead the planning and execution of subcontractor factory/fabrication yard inspections, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. Review and communicate inspection findings, highlighting any compliance issues.

Coordinate with third-party testing agencies to ensure all required tests are conducted in accordance with ITPs and contract specifications. Review test results for accuracy and submit them to the consultant after verification.

Lead risk identification activities, conducting comprehensive reviews of project documents, processes, and site conditions. Work closely with the project management team to design and implement effective mitigation measures for identified risks. Continuously track risks, adjusting mitigation strategies as necessary, and ensure early detection of any potential quality issues.

Lead and oversee the implementation of significant process improvement plans. Apply lean principles and quality management tools to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies. Review and analyze performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvements.

Develop detailed testing and commissioning plans, including procedures for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure all equipment and systems are installed and functioning according to design specifications. Oversee the completion and documentation of pre-commissioning, functional, and performance tests.

Oversee the preparation of as-built drawings, ensuring they reflect the final installed conditions accurately. Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information. Verify the accuracy of as-built drawings by comparing them with field conditions and construction records. Ensure all changes are documented.

Coordinate with Project team, subcontractors and Consultants and ensure the snagging /de-snagging are as per project schedule.

Coordinate with Project team, subcontractors and Consultants for closeout documentation/deliverables including identification of closeout requirements, preparation, submission and approval from consultant.

Complete all project deliverables as per the plan, ensuring all documentation is accurate and handed over to the client and maintenance team on time.

Identifies and plans activities related to the quality management system and provides assurance to fulfill the requirements of quality standards.

Develops a �quality culture� within Company employees in order to maintain the continuity of the quality enhancement process.

Determines the root causes of the non-conformities and improves the processes by eliminating them and enhances the continual improvement of the quality standards at the business unit.

Assists the QA/QC Engineer in auditing and inspecting subcontractor�s materials, plant and works that are being executed, fabricated or manufactured at site or out of the site.

Establishes, develops and improves a well-structured project quality system to enhance the efficiency and quality of the output among Company personnel leading to higher quality standards and client satisfaction.

Identifies the project quality goals and objectives and drives the execution of the action plans to achieve them.

Prepares the project�s quality management system documents such as PQP, method statements, ITP�s (inspection and testing plans) etc., and reviews the material and technical submittals to ensure their compliance with the contract�s requirements and best practices and follows-up with the consultant/client to obtain their approvals.

Controls all non-conformances reports (NCR) and ensures corrective actions are taken, root causes are analyzed and preventive actions are well placed and communicated.

Ensures that all project records are identifiable, retrievable and secured against deterioration or loss and provides guidance to project Document Controllers.

Carries out the snagging inspections towards the project finishing phase and follows-up for the close-out of the same.

Prepares project handover documentation/deliverables under guidance and supervision from QA/QC Manager.

Prepares weekly/monthly reports related to QA/QC.

Inspects major subcontractors� materials, equipment and workmanship which are manufactured, fabricated or assembled in or out side job site.

Assures that all non-conformances are closed in a timely manner and helps the QA/QC team in analyzing their root causes, corrective and preventive actions.

Identifies training needs for project�s staff and proposes a training plan in line with their supervisors/line managers and arranges for the required training.

Responsible for effective close-out of the project/contract by properly managing a team of QA/QC Engineers/QA/QC Officers and Document Controllers in line with the project requirements.

Reviews the project�s quality/safety documents to ensure their compliance with the contract�s requirements and best practices.

Monitors and assures proper update of applicable records, reports, safety statistics and trend analysis.
