Role: Product Analyst

We are looking for a curious, data-driven Product Analyst to join our analytics team. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams to track product performance, understand user behaviour, and turn data into insights that shape how millions of Indians watch and learn on our apps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write SQL queries to analyse user data on content consumption, feature usage, and engagement.
• Track and report key product metrics such as DAU, MAU, retention, churn, watch time, and conversion.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in BI tools to give teams clear visibility into performance.
• Support A/B tests by setting up tracking, monitoring results, and sharing findings, working with senior analysts.
• Run deep dives into metric changes and funnel drop-offs to find root causes.
• Validate event tracking and data quality for new feature launches, working with engineering.
• Turn data into clear, actionable recommendations for product and business teams.
• Support competitor analysis and track trends in short-form content and app usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst, preferably at a consumer tech company.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, and window functions.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, and basic Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar.
• Basic understanding of statistics and A/B testing.
• Clear communication, with the ability to explain data simply to non-technical teams.
• Interest in entertainment, media, or digital content apps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with consumer apps such as streaming, gaming, social, or edtech.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, CleverTap, or Google Analytics.
• Exposure to agile teams and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
