In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coordinate in-process and final product inspection.
- Research causes product failures and implement corrective actions.
- Implement improvements to the quality system as well as actions to prevent defects.
- Perform customer returns (SR) analysis and respond to actions to prevent defects.
- Monitor and report compliance with annual objectives, scrap and parts per million goals.
- Coordinate non-conforming material (Process - Supplier).
- Participate directly in process quality assurance of new products (Pilot Runs).
- Verify the proper implementation of the quality system and its daily application.
- Follow up on ASME “ American Society of Mechanical Engineers” certifications,
- CSA “ Canadian Association”, PED “Pressure Equipment Directive”, UV, NB “National Board”, etc.
- Support any project and/or improvement initiatives for Fromex by corporate or management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor Degree
Bilingual 95%
2 years of experience in quality assurance with application of statistical control.
Experience in design of experiments and cause mode and effect analysis.
Availability and documentation to travel 90%
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of metrology and handling of measuring equipment.
- Interpretation of drawings and understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
- Knowledge of quality regulations and standards such as ISO( International Organization for Standardization), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and control plans.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as 6 sigma, lean manufacturing.
- Proactive and with high sense of urgency.
- Leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
